Jeff Rohde, founder of J. Scott Digital, spent over three decades in real estate investment, from launching a private brokerage in 2005 to earning his CCIM designation.

During that time, he watched talented professionals struggle with a growing problem: they had deep expertise in real estate, but the digital tools meant to help them were scattered, confusing, and hard to use together.

After guiding clients through the 2008/2009 financial crisis and building relationships with companies like Arrived, Crexi, Stessa, and Roofstock, the pattern became clear.

The market wasn't short on technology. If anything, there was too much of it—dozens of apps that didn't talk to each other, software platforms that solved one problem while creating three more, and data sitting in separate silos that should have been working together.

Real estate professionals were spending more time trying to make their tools cooperate than actually using them. What was missing wasn't another solution. It was a system where everything actually worked together, built specifically for how real estate professionals think and work.

That gap became the reason to build something better.
